I’m Eating Healthy But Not Losing Weight?!

99% of the time this is because people fail to realise just how many calories are in foods.
You can gain weight by eating anything if you have enough of it – yes you could gain weight from eating too much salad, or too many apples.

For example, the stereotypical “fitness breakfast” of pouched eggs and avocado on toast is yes healthy, but also high in calories. 2 pouched eggs, 1 avocado and 2 pieces of toast is actually roughly 550 calories.
Or having a handful of almonds, again they are high in macronutrients but also high in calories. 100g of almonds is roughly 580 calories.
I am definitely not saying to avoid certain foods, but what I am saying is to be aware of what you are putting in your mouth because your 400 calorie deficit you think you are on may actually not be a deficit at all.
This is the importance of tracking our food.
