Not Losing Weight?

We all know to lose weight we must consume less than what we burn. The bigger the energy deficit is the quicker you will lose weight.

How long do you think it would take for somebody to lose weight if their deficit was only a few calories, we are talking 50-100 calories - It will take quite some time longer compared to a 20% deficit. (20% taken off from maintenance calories)

When tracking you need to pretty accurate. I sure if I could take 100 people off the highstreets and asked them what a single serving of Haribo looked like maybe 10 people would know. But once you know it is easy.

Your deficit will not be a deficit if your “serving” of Haribo is actually x4 the actual serving size and calories. This then leads you to getting disheartened and then motivation will go out the window when you are not losing weight!

I am not communicating to you that you must be incredibly anal and weigh everything to the exact gram, but when looking at serving sizes just be aware you know what a serve size is in correlation to the calories.

Attached are some examples from Ben Carpenter who when it comes to nutrition is one of the top authorities within the health and fitness field. If you want to check out more of his stuff, this is his Instagram account … https://www.instagram.com/bdccarpenter/
